Manage a Group

Managing a group allows you to build an engaged and vibrant community on Truth Social. When you create a group, you automatically become a group owner. Users can join a maximum of 50 groups.

Groups have one owner but can have 10 admins. Owners have the ability to:

1. Edit group details
2. Manage group members
3. Moderate content
4. Delete the group

Admins have the ability to:

1. Manage group members
2. Moderate content

You can assign other group members as admins by:

1. Tapping the ‘Members’ tab
2. Tapping the ellipsis icon next to a member’s name
3. Selecting ‘Assign admin role’
4. To undo, select "Remove admin role"

You can ban group members by:

1. Tapping the ‘Members’ tab
2. Tapping the ellipsis icon next to a member’s name
3. Selecting ‘Ban from group’

To edit group details, follow these steps:

1. Tap on 'Manage Group'
2. Tap on 'Edit Group Details'
3. Modify the group name, description, and add topics that serve as core talking points for the group.
